There's a strange tenderness in the exchange. As if the octopus is trying to understand this tiny imposter. Or perhaps seeing itself through another lens.
This encounter invites reflection on how human objects end up entangled in the natural world - not always with destruction, but often with confusion and a pause, as if recognising something familiar.
