Why I Can Help You

I'm Jill, and I'm really glad you stopped by.

I'm an artist who creates paintings that are thought-provoking and urge you to become the best version of yourself. I've experienced this expansion in my own life.

It began with a deep knowing that I'm more than meets the eye. I was intuitively led to paint a series of images that symbolised my process of becoming more aware. I had no idea why these images came to me at the time - I simply followed my intuition.

I then painted a series of abstracts, again intuitively led, although I don't consider myself an abstract artist!

When I later looked back over these two series, searching for the meaning in my work, it hit me: this was my journey of becoming more spiritually aware.

The literal images of the first series represented my initial awakening and learning.
The abstracts depicted the energetic work that followed - which made sense, because this stage was more ethereal. 

My current work is a result of the awareness I've gained within myself. I'm here to inspire and raise awareness in others in the ways I am intuitively led to do so through my art.

Although I have a certain level of understanding of what I'm painting and what each piece symbolises, I also recognise that there is an energetic exchange between my paintings and the viewer - one that continues long after my involvement with the piece.

I've lived, and continue to live, the path of self-discovery.

I believe we have a responsibility to take care of ourselves, others, and everything around us. Human beings are so special and have so much potential within them to do good things.

I haven't only painted since embarking on this journey - I've painted my whole life.

I also work on commissions, and because I am highly intuitive and empathetic, I can bring elements into a painting that reflect the essence of the individual commissioning it.
