Learning to Look Within
Learning to Look Within is the second piece in my Ascension Journey series, a collection that explores the stages of inner growth and transformation. In this painting, a mentor or motherly figure gently covers a young girl’s eyes, encouraging her to look beyond the barren landscape before her and imagine a brighter, more hopeful reality. By shielding the child from the limitations of her current surroundings, the mentor inspires her to manifest change from within—a powerful reminder that transformation begins with vision and belief.

This piece can also be interpreted as the older version of the girl guiding her inner child, nurturing her ability to dream and reimagine her world. It speaks to the process of self-guidance and the inner strength found in creativity and hope.
