Commission a Painting and Bring Your Story to Life

Bespoke Paintings for Your Home or Heart

I would love to create a special piece just for you!

Commissioning a portrait is a very special gift to yourself. A portrait signifies you really matter in this world, and the world is a better place for having you in it. Seeing your portrait every day is an opportunity for you to reflect on who you are and who you want to be - to remember to keep the promises you made to yourself.

Maybe you would like to commission a portrait as a gift for someone else. Imagine how they would feel to receive such a gift - a lasting gift that can eventually be handed down.

Our pets are individuals too! Would you like to immortalise your pet and honour them for the wonderful friend they are to you?

Here are the simple steps to commissioning a portrait:

Fill out the contact form below to share your vision. Whether it’s a portrait, a beloved pet, or a cherished place, let me know the size and any specific colours you’d like.

I offer 5 sizes:
11 x 14in
16 x 20in
24 x 24in
24 x 30in
30 x 40in

Once I review your request, I’ll guide you on sending reference photos. Ensure they are clear and high-quality for the best results. I’ll evaluate their suitability and provide feedback.

After photo approval, you have 2 options to choose from:

1. A 30-minute Zoom call with me to discuss your vision for your painting.

2. We can discuss your vision for your painting through emails.

I will give you an estimated timeline of the painting process and approximate completion date. Paintings can take 1 to 4 months, depending on the size and medium you choose. Acrylics will be fast-drying so the completion date will be sooner. Oils need time to harden enough to varnish.

If you decide at this point you would like to commission me to paint your vision, I will require a 50% deposit to add you to my painting schedule.

I’ll create sketches for your review, allowing minor adjustments to the composition before painting begins.

You’ll receive updates during the underpainting and final painting stages, with opportunities for feedback on minor tweaks.

After painting, I allow oils to cure and apply varnish for durability and vibrancy.

Your painting will be securely packed in a custom-designed box and delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity. There will be no additional shipping fees required - this is all included in the service I provide to you.
